Ty Hare

President & CEO

Ty began his career with Deloitte & Touche where he gained experience with many large public company audits. He served as the Chief Financial Officer for a commercial real estate development company prior to taking the CFO position at UASI in 1991. He became President and CEO in 1998.

Frank R. Kerley

Executive Vice President

As Executive Vice President, Frank is responsible for the development of Remote HIM services and UASI's business development efforts. Before joining UASI in 1998, Frank served as a Vice President for a leading national supplier of medical supplies to the healthcare market. Frank is a 1987 graduate of Xavier University’s School of Business Administration.

Beverly J. Bredenfoerder

Vice President Audit Operations

Beverly Bredenfoerder joined UASI in 1996 after holding key executive roles with regional managed care organizations. Beverly's experience from the payer's perspective has developed UASI into the regional leader for medical billing audit services serving an impressive list of nationally recognized healthcare providers. Beverly is a 1975 graduate of the University of Cincinnati.

Mary Stanfill

Vice President Health Information Management Services

MBI, RHIA, CCS, CCS-P, FAHIMA
Mary’s has nearly 30 years experience in the Health Information Management field.  Prior to UASI, Mary spent 11 years with the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA), most recently serving as Vice President of HIM Practice Resources. During her tenure at AHIMA, Mary was directly involved in the implementation process and review of code changes for ICD-10. Mary holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Record Science from Mercy College of Detroit and a Masters in biomedical informatics from the Oregon Health Sciences University School of Medicine.

John A. DeFraites

Vice President Sales and Marketing

John DeFraites joined UASI as an investor in 1991. Since then John has been responsible for directing the sales efforts and the profitable growth of the organization. John is a 1985 graduate of Spring Hill College.

Michael Burke

Vice President, Business Development

Prior to joining UASI, Michael worked on Capitol Hill in Washington DC  and then at a large generic pharmaceutical company for 10 years where he ultimately served as a Vice President in multiple departments. At UASI, Michael will work with management to continue the growth and success of UASI service lines. Michael graduated from the University of Notre Dame and received his MBA from Xavier University.
