UASI is please to announce two new members of it’s consultancy team.
Gloria Johnston, MBA, RN, RHIT, CCS-P has joined UASI as a member of the Senior Leadership Team in the role of Senior Director of Strategy. Gloria will be guiding UASI’s strategy to provide leading health systems solutions to deliver revenue cycle optimization and ensure quality ratings.
Gloria is a dynamic leader with more than 30 years of experience in creating and implementing value within multifacility healthcare systems and physician practices. She is a highly experienced subject matter expert in the areas of value-based care, risk adjustment, healthcare system operations, revenue integrity and optimization, CDI, coding, and quality programs.
Gloria holds a Master of Business Administration Degree and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Eastern Michigan University. She also holds an Associate Degree in Applied Science in HIT from Hutchinson Community college. Gloria is an active member of AHIMA and holds her Lean Six Sigma Bronze Certification, RHIT and CCS-P credentials.
Sheri Battaglia, RN, BSN, CCS, CRC, CCDS, has joined the UASI in the role of Managing Consultant. Sheri is a proven CDI leader with over 10 years of consulting management experience across a variety of healthcare systems from large multifacility systems to local community hospitals. She has expertise in CDI program optimization focusing on strategy, compliance, standards and best practices. She is a highly proficient CDI educator with the ability to create momentum with physicians and clinical teams to drive results.
Sheri holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from the University of Akron and is Certified Clinical Documentation Specialist (CCDS), Certified Coding Specialist (CCS), and Certified Risk Adjustment Coder (CRC).
