Effective October 1, 2021, code Z51.5, Encounter for Palliative Care, was added to the Exempt from POA Reporting List by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s National Center for Health Statistics. To find a list of all diagnoses that are exempt from POA reporting, click here.
Effective April 1, 2022, the following diagnoses have been designated as POA Exempt:
- Z28.310: Unvaccinated for COVID-19
- Z28.311: Partially Vaccinated for COVID-19
- Z28.39: Other Under Immunization Status
