UASI is seeking an experienced CDI Supervisor to join our Consulting and Solutions team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience leading staff and projects including mentoring, training and leading staff, effectively managing project parameters, and accountability for client deliverables.
Responsibilities:
Ensure UASI’s client deliverables result in impactful solutions:
- Develop or assist in preparation of client reports that contain findings, observations, and recommendations for improvement.
- Communicate with clients and provide client support as needed.
- Participate in the Client Management process by understanding client goals/expectations, communicating with Client/UASI Sales/Supervisor about staff performance, and helping to support client and UASI mutual objectives.
Contribute to the development of the CDI Consulting Team through Staff Management & Oversight:
- Provide initial and on-going training of staff assigned to clients as necessary.
- Oversee quality review of staff work.
- Handle administrative duties such processing consultant’s timesheets and expense reports.
- Provide input needed to Manager in order to complete staff annual evaluations and participate in disciplinary monitoring and enforcement.
- Work with the Managing Consultant to develop both internal UASI policies & procedures and develop procedures, tools, etc. to meet the goals for the client.
Ensure efficiency in the work through effective project management and a focus on operational execution:
- Lead the project kick off including overseeing the creation of the project plan in Quick Base, communicating the parameters for the chart pull, and communicating the project plan for the team.
- Monitor the scheduling and access process for staff to ensure project timelines stay on track.
- Evaluate and document client processes and implement tools to assist staff and ensure client specific goals are achieved.
- Track project milestones and monitor system downtime, client issues and/or staff problems.
Qualifications:
- RN/BSN required.
- Credential of CCDS or CDIP and/or coding credential preferred.
- Previous experience performing CDI audits and creating project reports and recommendations required.
- Knowledgeable and experienced in leading CDI Audit projects preferably in a consulting environment preferred.
- Experience leading teams and communicating project parameters.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Word and Excel.
