CDI Auditor Job Description
UASI is passionate about providing CDI Consulting services that improve quality and accuracy. We are continuing to expand our CDI service offerings and we are seeking experience professionals to join our team as a CDI Auditor.
The CDI Auditor provides consulting services to clients in the area of CDI program development, training, program evaluation, and auditing. The primary function is to perform CDI Audits to client sites throughout the country.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Provide consulting services to clients for a variety of Clinical Documentation Improvement initiatives
- Assist sales/clients with program assessment and project deliverables based on individual client needs
The ideal candidate will have a clinical background with a thorough knowledge of official medical coding guidelines, CMS, and private payer regulations related to the Inpatient Prospective Payment System.
Additional qualifications include:
- RN, BSN or MSN required
- CCDS or CDIP preferred
- Must have at least three years of CDI experience along with second level review or auditing experience
- Knowledge and experienced in all aspects of CDI
